What Supports Your Mental Health? (Insights From ND Community; Part 2)

Last week, we explored the first six themes about how neurodivergent humans are supporting their mental health. This week, we’re back to look at the final seven.

While I didn’t plan it this way, I noticed a pattern: the first set of themes tended to focus on identity, support, community, education, and self-understanding. This second set leans more into accessing positive emotions ~ things like pleasure, delight, meaning, and purpose. And I’d argue that cultivating positive emotions is just as important (if not more so) than simply managing difficult ones.
