I really enjoyed my conversation with
this week, where we explored Autistic and ADHD parts—and the complexity of how we relate to them. There are a few chewy ideas I’m still marinating on, but one thread I wanted to pull forward for our conversation this week is around building self-trust between parts— and how we can create “containers” or playgrounds where these parts can feel safe to play and explore. For me, the metaphor of ritual and spontaneity really resonates — offering a kind of playful dance between structure and freedom. I’m curious: are there metaphors or frameworks that come to mind for you when it comes to building self-trust between your parts?
And if you're not AuDHD, feel free to approach this from a different angle—whatever feels meaningful in your own neurodivergent landscape.
