How’s that for a clickbait title? I usually avoid those … but here we are. Actually, I once read that people are more likely to click on odd-numbered lists ~ like 9 or 7 or 11.1 Isn’t it strange? We live in a world where people research human behavior just to manipulate it into getting more clicks.

But my brain likes numerical symmetry, so I’m settling on 10, even if it means fewer clicks. Honestly, I could do 45 or 15 (symmetry again), but that would be a lot of writing.

This week, I’ve been deep in writing mode, working against a deadline I’m this close to missing because life got busy and, well, I didn’t do the math right. I’m working on a card deck that draws from Self-Care for Autistic People. While the plan was to mostly draw from the book, my brain being what it is, I’m mostly writing new content. So that means my brain has been thinking a lot about how to condense self-care and wellness practices into 160-word cards ~ a challenge for a brain that loves context and thinks more in …
