Neurodivergent Notes: Finding Enoughness
A Neurodivergent Mindset Tour
I’m sitting with a web of ideas, ones that feel a bit contradictory. But I’ve learned that some of my best thinking often starts there. So I’m diving into the web. You’re welcome to join, but heads up, this is a windy one!
Earlier this week, I finally sorted out how to run a proper sale on the new website. I didn’t want to do a Fourth of July sale, “independence sale” just didn’t align with the mood. So we went with the “enoughness” sale. Whether you’ve had enough, or you’re struggling to remember you are enough, it felt like the kind of aligned message I was looking for.
And now I can’t stop thinking about enoughness.
There are lots of streams feeding this:
I’m prepping a talk on traumatic invalidation in neurodivergent lives
I recently read a book chapter on ADHD and growth mindset
On the podcast, we’ve been talking about why affirmations and other wellness trips don’t always land for us
And it’s July — Disability Pride Month
So that’s the web. Let’s call it “neurodivergent mindset stuff.” …
